Description
A delicately rendered graphite study of a young roe buck, poised at the threshold of an awakening landscape. The moment is held in quiet suspension, as soft Norfolk light settles across reed and meadow, drawing attention to the buck’s alert gaze and the fine texture of its coat. Subtle tonal layering allows the surrounding landscape to gently recede, evoking the hush of early morning — a countryside holding its breath before the first movement stirs the grass.
