Description

This drawing captures the moodiness of a stormy background and the intimate, tender interaction between two horses, brought to life through skillful graphite shading and contrast. The darker horse reaches out with a gentle foreleg toward its pale companion, their forms emerging from soft shadows. Subtle gradients define muscle, mane, and movement, while the softly darkened sky adds a brooding, almost ethereal atmosphere. The unfinished textures on the lighter horse suggest light breaking through clouds, creating a delicate balance between depth and openness.

Hand drawn in graphite pencils.
Drawn on an A3 sheet of white acid-free art paper.

Framed in high quality wide semi-decorative painted wooden frame, specially selected to compliment and match the drawing. Fully glassed with UV non-reflective museum quality art glass.
For all Original Art, you will receive a hand signed Certificate of Authenticity from me as well as a printed copy of my artist’s biography and inspiration.

FRAMED –  is professionally framed using the best quality materials possible to complement the art. Carefully chosen by myself and my knowledgeable framer, we work together to select the very best result for your purchase. Using high grade museum quality acid-free backing boards, extra wide mount boards, and quality Art Glass. Framed to the very highest museum standards. Our chosen Art Glass is designed to reduce glare and reflections while also blocking harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.
