CUSTODE dei FIORI – Guardian of the Flowers
Custode dei Fiori — Guardian of the Flowers
A new oil painting to be unveiled at Art Fair East 2025
Continuing my exploration of light, balance, and the quiet dialogue between strength and fragility, Custode dei Fiori (Guardian of the Flowers) presents a serene grey horse poised beside two luminous, giant red blooms. This composition celebrates both resilience and delicacy: the horse, rendered with soft precision and calm authority, becomes a symbol of guardianship and timeless grace, while the vivid flowers — intricate, full of life — reflect nature’s fleeting beauty and inner strength. The deep, shadowed background heightens the contrast, drawing the eye toward the relationship between purity, vitality, and protection. Custode dei Fiori is, at its heart, an allegory of harmony — a meditation on the guardianship we owe to the fragile beauty of life.
